Im hiv+ and I have 5 months old baby girl and im breastfeeding her.last time when I went for check ups my doctor said that I should stop giving the baby nevirapine,as long as I take my medication I will not infect her.the question is is it true what she is telling me because sometime im scared to feed my baby.

I came to the united states when I was 10 I got married at 17 and have two kids we get separated and I got married again but after 1 year I went to the doctor and he told me that I was hiv positive my question is im ilegal immigrant from mexico I have my older son that is 17 now im with leggacy clinic and they are helping with my medication but I want to know if there is any way that can my son tried to get a permit or special visa when he turns 18

I had sex with a new girlfriend and although we initially used condom afterwards we didnt. I only told her afterwards and we went to clinic next da. Where do I stand legally?

The clinic have told her it is a criminal offence (UK).

Can HSV2 give off some symptoms that might be similar to HIV?

I tested once twice and just recently made positive for HSV2 but that still leaves me concern with HIV that I still show negative its been around 4 weeks. The probable answer is test again. But i just want to know if is possible to have similar symptoms.

If I have had sex with someone who is HIV positive, how long might it be before I should get tested, i.e. how soon could it be detected? Secondly how long afterward do I need to continue to get tested before I can be sure I was not infected?
